JD’s Patch & Paint collects only the information needed to understand and respond to service requests, manage active work, and operate this website.
Information we collect
When you send an assessment or job inquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, requested service, project description, preferred date and time, project location or postal code, and any photographs you choose to provide. Basic technical information may also be processed to keep the form secure and prevent spam.
Why we use it
We use this information to review your request, contact you, discuss or arrange the work, maintain service records, protect the website, and meet reasonable business or legal record-keeping needs. Sending a service request does not subscribe you to marketing.
Customer photographs stay private
Photographs submitted with an inquiry are stored separately from the public Projects gallery. They do not become public gallery images automatically and are available only through authenticated administration. A customer photograph would be published only through a separate, deliberate process and with an appropriate basis to do so.
Service providers
The website may use Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication, database records, and private file storage, Resend for transactional email notifications, and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam prevention. These providers process limited information as needed to deliver their services and are subject to their own privacy and security terms.
Retention and safeguards
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, the related work, security, record keeping, or applicable obligations. Administrative access is authenticated, customer files are kept in private storage, and access controls are applied to database and storage records. No internet system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Access, correction, or deletion
You may ask about personal information connected with your request, or request a correction or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained when reasonably required for an active job, security, bookkeeping, or legal obligations.
